I visited the exhibits this afternoon and I was very much blown away. I have been a Lincoln Fanatic since I can remember. I recently visited Springfield, Ill. In October (another great experiance). I too was VERY impressed with the Bible that Mr. Lincoln and Mr. Obama were sworn into office with. Being a Huge fan of Lincoln and very distance cousin by marriage to Obama, seeing that Bible was a very special moment.

I might have to see that exhibit. I love the story of Lincoln’s duel. It’s so great. Especially the fact that he chose cavalry broadswords. You know… I happen to be something of a history nerd. *Gestures towards black frame glasses and makes casual mention of the 5s he got on the AP Euro and AP U.S. exams.*

I had some Yellow Submarine magnets. The Chief Blue Meanie, Jeremy Hilary Boob Ph.D., The Beatles, the Yellow Submarine, and the Dreadful Flying Glove. I wasn’t too popular in school, needless to say.
