Sam’s vocal skills have been praised for the last 50 years, but his “hum-ability” is rarely discussed and should be praised as well. I specifically chose his humming intro to “Trouble Blues” as my website’s intro. Great way to run out the tape, tripper!
The man interviewing Sam is the legendary DJ Magnificent Montague, by the way.

Absolutely. One of the main reasons I wrote my book was because there were a lot of things going on in Sam’s personal life (mostly related to business dealings) that sheds light on his last days. Also, I include the input of a valued source as to what really happened at the Hacienda Motel. Tell Bess to check out the reader reactions on my Amazon.com listing.
