Jeezikah Got Married, Part 293843: The Reception

Posted by Jenn on June 26, 2008 at 10:29 am.

My dad took these from inside the reception while I was outside getting hammered!

(Other things my dad said: “Don’t get any ideas. For your wedding, we’re bringing in White Castle.”)

The positively glowing Jessica at the head table…

Annie giving her toast. “To the journey!”

Here’s me and Nick eating our delicious wedding meal. I had Eggplant Napoleon and CousCous on Steroids.

It was delicous. In a normal reception setting, I’d be jealous of everyone else’s dishes, but I went to the final tasting with Jess and knew what everything tasted like.

Martin giving his toast and the corresponding joviality.

We’ve come a long way, babies.

In this photo, Annie and I are are re-assuring Jess that she is not a bitch for denying requests for “The Chicken Dance” at her reception.

Waiting for the right time to assault the dance floor…

Dancing! Note the ham posing in the dark background.

David had moves!

And I totally stepped all over his feet…

(Stolen from Nick.) ME AND MY FOREVER FRIEND *SQUEAL!* No seriously. I love Surya. I wish we lived in the same city.

Stolen from Kristen - Ricky and Dominic with our oil-absorbing sheet things.

DANCIN, DANCIN’, DAANNNCCCIIIINNN’!

HEY HEY, you guys! You know what’s a good drink? Ginger Ale and Crown Royal. Yeah. Had a lot of those.

And almost flashed everyone.

Bustin’ a Move in Lace

Um, so sometime during the night, they set up the rotunda with cuban cigars and port. Pretty much amazing.

Back inside for one more dance…

We after-partied at a bar across the street. I did not bring my camera, because I don’t trust myself with it after X-amount of drinking, but I am tagged on them in Facebook.

We also drunkenly walked through downtown Pitt to get to Primanti Brothers , where I got famous, perfect sandwich to cap off the night.

In sum, the best wedding ever.

The end!
