Many of you remember that when Damon and I first moved in together, his cat Corona showed her disapproval by pooping outside of her litter box. This eventually tapered off, in what I assumed to be her way of finally accepting me into our shared living space.
No. She has discovered that by simply bathing herself and subsequently rolling all over my belongings, she is causing me more agony than a simple displaced poo nugget could ever cause.
For the past month, I have been waking up to my right eye swollen nearly shut from puffiness. Systematically I pop a Claritin and things are fine by my morning drive. I’ve been washing my pillow case in scalding hot water (with fragrance/dye-free detergent!) like mad.
Then I came home today….Bitch was bathing on my pillow – saturating my linens in her kitty anthrax.
Argh.

thankfully i am not allergic to cats. one that we have is incredibly scent driven. like i’ll come home from work, take off my shirt and throw it on the floor. she immediately goes to it, wraps herself in it, and rolls around in it. im not sure if she likes my scent or the scent of a mix of paint and cigarettes.

I love reading your blog.
Did you ever try that vitamin stuff to put in her food to reduce her dander? It helps alot.

You know, I couldn’t remember where you said you can get that stuff - do I have to get it from a vet?
