If I could sum up the dichotomy that is life at age 24, it would be this weekend…
Saturday: Leave Indianapolis at 7:30am to drive to Bloomington. Start drinking at 9am at the Homecoming tailgate. Half a fifth later I am watching crimson-clad frat boys hurdle through the field in a save-a-lot shopping cart.
Sunday: Wake up at 8:30am. Do laundry. Clean kitchen. MAKE MEATLOAF.
(Seriously. If there is a domestic pas de deux, it’s surely laundry and meatloaf.)
