Oh my goodness. Talk about a blogging hiatus. It was like one of those things where you don’t talk to one of your friends for a long time, and then it’s like, well, shit, it’s been a month, it’s going to be weird, now. Let’s not do that again.
Job. is. Awesome! I’ve learned a TON in the past month, and I’m really starting to feel settled. If you’d like to know what I do most of my days, all you have to do is turn on your TV and catch an ad for Steak n Shake. Then you can know that I placed that ad, and by “placed,” I mean I assisted someone who placed that ad. Whatever.
You know what is NOT awesome, though? The 45 minute trek to downtown Indianapolis. Blargh. To be fair, I didn’t actually have a job when I put down the deposit on the Castleton apartment, and, to be fair, Castleton is halfway between my job downtown and Damon’s job in Noblesville. I am turning to audiobooks as a result. Right now I’m on Anthony Bourdain’s A Cook’s Tour: In Search of the Perfect Meal, because I am kind of in love with him right now, although I’m not really sure why. Hmm.
