You know, we live in a really safe apartment complex.
Hell, I used to live on the west side.  Next to a halfway house.
Obviously an upgrade there.

But I am pretty sure that out of the eight apartments in building “C”, there are two cases of really bad, possibly abusive, relationships.
Maybe they are just loud talkers and like to throw heavy objects around their apartment.
However, this morning, I heard much shouting and door slamming, followed by:  ”Put the screwdriver down. Go outside. Have yourself a cigarette and cool down.”  This, coming from the older woman next door, whom Damon and I affectionately call, “Crazy Lady.”

Building C is also very diverse.   The middle eastern neighbor across the hall is named Mr. Arab. I shit you not. I am not being racist. That is his actual name.

Anywho, it’s Saturday, and I’ve been in my pajamas all day watching The Office. Mainly I was sick of people asking me, “Do you watch The Office?” and me saying I hadn’t, and them getting all quiet like I ruined their birthday.  But I downloaded totally legally purchased with my own american dollars the first two seasons and I am HOOKED.  Jim and Pam OMG! I am in the beginning of Season Two, and I have not anticipated a fake romance like this since the eighties, when I was rooting for the Lois/Bram romance of Sharon, Lois, and Bram fame.  (This sounded familiar, and I realized I said the same thing a few years ago in regards to House.)

But seriously.  Argh.  So cute.

It’s like you’ve been born again after watching The Office. Welcome to my world sweetheart.
And Mac’s world. The Office and My Name is Earl are his favorite shows other than The Simpsons.

I really like the US Office and Jim and Pam, but it’s hard for me to think of them and not think of Tim and Dawn from the UK version and how much better that was. Still though, great show.
