Look, I’m in a nutshell! How did I get into this great big bloody nutshell?!

First off - His Holiness the Dalai Lama is coming to Bloomington. (Okay, so he’s coming next October — but he’s COMING! I got the e-mail.) I am on the mailing list for the Tibetan Cultural Center, where I visited a few weeks ago and took GORGEOUS PHOTOGRAPHS of their lotus pond. Unfortunately, you will never see them, because I am a fucking idiot who has not loaded a manual camera in forever and accidentally tore the film off the spool. Argh.

Second off — Thank you so much for your coaching and support for my phone interview with Starcom MediaVest Group! From about 10-10:25 am, I have no real idea of what I actually said, and I feel like I didn’t take a breath! But it paid off!

When I got home from work this evening, I got an email inviting me for the final round of interviews in Chicago!
