The world has gone mad.
At least in Retail.
At least in Best Buy.
Sometimes — I swear to God — it’s like there’s a fucking Crazy Bus, and it lets off right in front of the store’s entrance, and there we are, left to deal with the crazies. i.e. Highlight of Today: Watching my manager, Laura, yelling at three customers who were about to brawl in the middle of the DVDs. It was very Jerry-Springer, what with the talk of restraining orders [and bad taste in movies].

pssshhh want to answer my phones for me? I’m not sure how many times yesterday I asked how these people dress themselves over ignorant questions.
Ma’am you have to call 1 triple 8 best buy.
Um could you do that in numbers I’m on a cellphone?
There’s still letters on cellphone buttons ma’am, you won’t remember the number if I tell you and good luck getting back through our phone system is what I should have said… but I did it for her with Flo laughing hysterically in the background.

One of these days, one of us is totally going to crack, for the complete amusement of the entire store. :)
