And me?
I got me an older man, too!
DAMON TURNED TWENTY-EIGHT on SUNDAY!
I am broke as a joke, and so I decided I would cook the ol’ guy dinner. This immediately spurred a panic attack — I’ve never cooked for him before. This is not because I don’t know how to cook, but because I am so afraid that he wouldn’t like it. I can’t think of a time when he was really “wowed” by something he’s ordered at a restaurant.
Listen, I’m not a master cook by any means, but yer darn tootin’ I can make just about any recipe you give me [just as long as it is featured as "easy" or "medium" difficulty on the foodnetwork website.]
On Sunday’s dinner menu? Tenderloin steak topped with gorgonzola cheese and sage, fresh green beans and portobello mushrooms sauteed with sherry, and garlic roasted red potatoes with rosemary! Deliciously paired with a nice cabernet! And — no lie — the kid cleaned his plate. So either he liked it, or he loves me enough to pretend like he did, which is fine with me.
Thank you, Rachel Ray.
Also, holy shit! I’m dating a 28-year-old man.

I ADORE that site. The search options are heavenly. (Especially the option where you can enter ingredients and it comes up with recipes that fit. It’s like the MacGyver of recipes.)
