6 am Saturday on Little 5 Weekend, and I’m working at the radio station.
Why? Because I put the Big Girl pants on, and I’m helping a sister out. I must admit, it is nice to be working when there’s light outside. And Jesse, in the AM studio next door, is here to talk to.
Did I mention in TEN DAYS from right now, I will be on my way to HAWAII?
I need recommendations for a book to read on the plane. I like: Chuck Klosterman and Joyce Carol Oates (but not together. they DEFINITELY would not fuck each other.)
Also, money.

Jody Picoult My sister’s keeper … easy read, but surprisingly it makes you think, so I really reccommend this one. I have it and would be happy to lend it to you if you’d like.
I also have My Heart Laid Bare by Oates if you haven’t read and would like to borrow.
I recently read The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls. I had this one, but lent it to a friend to read. It was good, but it’s a fairly typical NYTimes Bestseller memoir. I wasn’t really impressed with her writing skills, but it’s a story that is at times really funny, but also really sad.
If you happen to find someone who is handing out money feel free to send them my way =0)
