I re-injured my knee playing volleyball.
And it wasn’t even *real* volleyball! It was a morning meeting volleyball game at Best Buy, which consists of bumping a yellow feather-light ball over a stretch of packaging tape. Me and a co-worker were both going for the ball, and the next thing I know, I am on the ground….with lots of swelling! Many a frozen Boca-burger has been sacrificed on account of icing this sucker. It’s also bruising quite weirdly.
(You guys should be lucky that my digital camera is broken, or you BET you’d be seeing pictures of that shit.)
I was never really the girl who got “injured” all the time, per se. I was never athletic enough. Being a dancer, I sometimes had pulled muscles or broken toes, but nothing major. I remember in fourth grade, you’d always have those girls who would sprain their ankles every two days and got to sit with their leg propped in class with an icepack. Fakers.

I can relate, I hurt my back the other day when Dave Gordon jumped on me. I’m not real sure when I officially became an old man and started having back problems like my dad, but it officially sucks balls.
