a) You furrow your brow at that line from Alice Cooper’s “School’s Out,” until it happens to you: Schoooool’s out. FOR. EVAH…..really..
b) I remember having a ceremonial purging of class papers and whatnot on the last day of school. But never have I seen a flood of people throw loose leaf in the air in true out-of-school celebratory fashion. Did this happen at your school? Was your school a movie school?
I have a feeling this is one of those things like pillow fights, in which all the pillows explode into a cloud of down feathers. You think it really happens, but it doesn’t.
These are the thoughts I have when I have a day off and there are good movies on AMC. All day.

We were told not to, but people emptied lots of papers onto the floors of our school. It wasn’t like a movie, but the halls were a mess. AND when we moved into a new high school they didn’t yell at us for stealing our locker doors- which were going to be thrown away, though that information wasn’t to be shared with students. So I have a locker door at my house somewhere…

My high school was NOTHING like the movies. Oh well, I still love that movie anyway!

My cafeteria once broke out into “buttercup”. The whole cafeteria… all 300-400 of us. Who started it? My friends.

in my experience, pillow fights are always much more angry than tv would lead us to believe. so its a good thing the pillows don’t actually break open, because then the fight would just continue with whatever heavy/sharp objects could be found.
