Baby’s First Drug Test
…I got the position at Best Buy. (Woot.) I went straight from the interview to the medical clinic to pee in a cup. I was wearing my suit pants, the ones with the buckle that’s so tricky it’s the equivalent of a chastity belt. The nurse was suspicious. “Chill, Nurse!” I shouted behind the partially-opened door. “You’ll get my pee, soon enough!” Okay. I didn’t. But I mumbled something like, “My pants..they’re uh..the buckle’s stuck..and um…the….”
To celebrate my new job, I made myself a strong strawberry margarita and sat outside on my cheap, plastic Walmart lounge chair to read Allure and listen to OK Computer while the sun was setting. After my natural reading light was extinguished, only the tequila and the music remained, an’ I got quite toasty. (did I mention I was alone? yeah. nice.) Later I celebrated the completion of my drug test at “Seth’s house”. (<— inside joke..see, the non-Seth neighbors get really pissed when you refer to their apartment as…oh, nevermind.)

Ok Jenn… ya got me. I switched to livejournal. Today was “moving day” since I moved the few crappy posts that I had on the old site to the new one.
Anyway, I figured I should inform you of the horribly sad news that I was also watching Carson Daly last night. The reason being was I was too lazy to turn the channel after Conan was over. Funny enough, it was the ONE episode of that show that I had ever seen before. One question though… why does he have always seem to be sporting the crustache? (and I also realize I should have placed this comment on the right post, but hey, I told you i’m lazy.)
