When you’ve just graduated and are working two part time jobs — what else is there to do but rent a sweet studio apartment in a historic house?

My homestead for next year will be the cutest studio flat on sixth street.
I love that my kitchen is painted RED. I told them not to change it.
*yawns* What’s this? Exhausted at ten o’ clock?
Yeah, I had my first overnight shift at the station last night. People have been giving me pitiful looks when I tell them that I work midnight to five-thirty, but really, I’m nocturnal to begin with. The job is wonderfully easy, breezy…checking the programming log for time - throwing out songs, adding in songs, reading the weather for the AM station…no one breathing down my neck…I can walk around without shoes. excellent.

Okay, I don’t technically have a “show,” but I’m the only one at the station between the hours of 12 am and 5:30 am, so I’m sure you will be able to hear my “influence” on the programming choices. But yes, it streams online.

I’m also responsible for the programming of “The Sound of Bloomington” WGCL AM1370..(stop laughing)…You won’t be able to hear it, but I record the weather updates (5 minutes after the top of the hour)and the weather hotline…
(call 812-334-1515 between one and five in the morning tonight to hear my recording! Hahah!)
Oh, and my apartment is ’round the bend, toward the back of the house. So I don’t get much porch action, except to get my mail. Woot.
